the ultimate optical sales hack designed by optometrists

about eyewear stream
Eyewear Stream wasn’t created by a software or tech company. It was created by two experienced optometrists who noticed a seemingly small, persistent problem derailing workflow efficiency and optical sales in eyecare practices. Determined to streamline the price-to-sale model, they created a solution that automates calculations and delivers virtual payment options to customers.
the eyewear stream mission
Eyewear Stream's mission is to make eyecare practices more empowered, profitable, and effective by simplifying the copayment and transaction processes for opticians and patients.

With 33 years of combined experience in optometry, Dr. David Zucker and Dr. Ian Whipple share a passion for patient rights and quality vision care.

meet Dr. Whipple
"Optometry, more than any other field, is evolving quickly. I want optometrists to continue to drive that evolution in a way that honors the doctor/patient relationship. I refuse to allow outside entities to dictate how we should practice. Eyewear Stream is a market disrupter that empowers optometrists by removing significant challenges in eyeglass sales, which creates more time and wealth." — Dr. Ian Whipple, OD.
Scientifically curious even at a young age, Dr. Ian Whipple is the owner and optometrist at Vision Source of Farr West and Vision Source of South Ogden. He graduated from Utah State University and received his doctorate in optometry at Ohio State University. Dr. Whipple has received the Best Practices Award 2019 as one of the top 10 optometry offices nationwide.
He and his wife are happy to make Ogden their home. They are the parents of two children. When he’s not making memories with his family, Dr. Whipple is a passionate musician who plays the piano and guitar and enjoys jamming with his bands. He is also an avid runner and rock climber, and it’s rare to catch him sitting still!
meet Dr. Zucker
"My ultimate goal is to positively impact all whom I come into contact with, whether they’re a personal friend, a patient in an exam room, or a stranger on the street. Life itself is a ride and a practice of sorts, and I am absolutely thrilled and grateful to be alive." — Dr. David Zucker, OD.
Dr. David Zucker has always been obsessed with asking, "How can I make my staff's and patients' lives easier, and therefore my own life easier?" He has been running his private optometry practice in Downtown Santa Barbara, CA—Urban Optics—since the age of 29. He firmly believes that financial success will inevitably follow if you try to do what's best for your staff and patients.
When Dr. Zucker is not in the office, he enjoys exercising, meditating, sailing, and snowboarding. His goal in helping to create Eyewear Stream was to make his staff's life much easier, create more confidence in his patients during a glasses sale, and make it extremely easy for patients to order glasses from home if they want to "think about it."
